1 Introduction
Course design is an important section of the course "Wood and Plastic Designs." The goals of course design are to secure the theoretical knowledge obtained during the study of discipline, develop the skills of calculating and designing bearing and enclosing structures from wood, and develop skills for independent work with scientific, technical and regulatory literature.
In this course design, the most rational design solution of the designed building was selected, the main load-bearing and enclosing structures, knot joints were designed and calculated, measures were chosen to protect building elements from rotting and fire. All accepted design solutions and calculation algorithms comply with the requirements of existing regulatory documents.
3 Building structural diagram layout
The building is unheated, single-span. The span of the building is 16 m, the pitch of the columns is 3.4 m. The length of the building is taken equal to 11 steps of the load-bearing structures and equal to 37.4 m. The type of coating is an insulated translucent coating of wavy sheets of fiberglass along the runs.
Rafter structures - triangular trusses with a 16 m span on the top belt.
The transverse frame of the building consists of two columns rigidly secured in the foundations, hinged to the truss.
To unify the dimensions of curtain panels, the column reference to the layout axes is zero on the outer face of the columns.
8 Measures to ensure durability of wooden structures
Wooden structures must be protected from rotting, ignition and humidification. Depending on the operating conditions of the building, different measures are provided. Measures of constructive prevention include: the device of reliable waterproofing and vapor insulation, ensuring free access to the support units of farms and constant ventilation of them.
In conditions of permanent or periodic humidification of structures and the inability to eliminate these factors, it is necessary to provide for treatment of wood with antiseptics.
Glued wooden structures of massive cross section have a fire resistance limit of 40-50 minutes or more, therefore, treatment with antiseptics is not required for them .
Steel parts are protected from corrosion by painting with paint compositions.
