3.1 Description of trolley movement mechanism diagram

We accept the movement mechanism diagram in accordance with Figure 3.1.

Movement mechanism consists of engine 2, brake 1, elastic sleeve-flange coupling 3, vertical reduction gear 4, double-rim gear coupling 5, support 6, running wheel 7.

The designed trolley is supported by four running wheels. Two wheels are driven, and two are idle. Mechanism of trolley movement is designed for its movement at specified speed both empty and with maximum load. The mechanism must also provide braking of the trolley for a certain time.

Torque of electric motor is transmitted through reduction gear to two drive wheels. Electric motor shaft is connected with high-speed shaft of reduction gear by means of bushing-flange coupling. By analogy with scheme of lifting mechanism one of its half-couplings is made in the form of brake pulley on which brake is installed. The scheme of the movement mechanism (Figure 3.1) assumes that part of the mechanism is located above the floor of the trolley, and part is located under it.
