Name of the facility: Calf Shed 22-25. Purpose: Livestock building for housing calves on a dairy farm. Location: North Kazakhstan Region, Akkayin District, Poltavsky Rural District, Poltavka Village.

Engineering and geological surveys revealed the presence of clayey soils. Seasonal flooding and aggressive groundwater are also noted, so the project calls for the use of sulfate-resistant cement, highly water-resistant concrete, and anti-corrosion measures.

Calf barn 22-25 as part of a dairy farm

The project includes the construction of a modern, unheated calf barn measuring 34 x 138 m with a total area of ​​approximately 4,692 m². The building is designed for housing young cattle and is designed taking into account the climatic and engineering-geological conditions of the North Kazakhstan region.

The building's structural components include a pile foundation on bored reinforced concrete piles measuring 300, 400, and 600 mm in diameter, monolithic reinforced concrete grillages, a reinforced concrete plinth, and monolithic walls. The floors are constructed of a 200 and 400 mm thick reinforced concrete slab on the ground.
