12. Crusher maintenance and repair

Material grinding machines shall be of a simple design providing convenience and service safety; minimum number of wear and tear parts; safety devices, which in case of exceeding permissible loads must be destroyed (spacer plates) or deformed (springs), preventing breakage of more complex units.

Structures shall comply with sanitary standards of sound crushing, vibration and dust content of air.

Jaw crushers have the most use among various types of crushing equipment, not only due to the simplicity of the design, but also with the ease of maintenance and repair.

Conclusion

The design resulted in a jaw crusher with the following parameters:

- Width of receiving hole B = 1420 mm;

- Crushing chamber length L = 1800 mm;

- Width of outlet slot b = 270 mm;

- Height of the camera of crushing of N. = 3760 mm;

- Height of movable cheek Nch = 4100 mm;

- Main shaft speed n = 143.75 rpm;

- Crusher capacity P = 0.3834 m3/s;

- Crusher drive:

Motor 4A355S10Y3: N = 90 kW, n = 575 rpm;

V-belt transmission: belt type D, maximum pulley diameter

D1 = 630 mm, driven pulley diameter d2 = 2520 mm, belt length

L = 9000 mm; number of belts 4;

- Sliding bearings d = 700 mm, l = 500 mm;

- Weight of flywheels m = 6295 kg.
