Description
The rippers are equipped with hydraulically operated single- and trident rear-mounted rippers. Ripping equipment is hung on crawler bulldozers with tractors of classes 10, 25, 35, 50 and 75 with a capacity of 118...636 kW.
The main parameter of bulldozers-rippers is the traction class of the basic tractor.
Rippers are attached to the frame of the base tractor or to the body of its rear axle. The technical characteristics of bulldozers-rippers are given in Table 1. 1 and 2.
Bulldozers-rippers are used for preliminary layer-by-layer loosening and moving of dense stony, frozen and rocky soils when arranging construction sites, digging pits and wide trenches, as well as for breaking road surfaces. Destruction of soils and rocks occurs with the forward movement of the machine and the simultaneous forced deepening of the teeth of the working body to a given mark. In the process of loosening, the soil mass is divided into pieces (blocks) of such dimensions that are convenient for their subsequent effective development, loading and transportation by other machines.
Loosening is carried out by parallel cuts according to two technological schemes: without turns at the edge of the site with the return of the machine to its original position in reverse (shuttle scheme) and with the rotation of the ripper at the end of each pass (longitudinal and rotary scheme). The shuttle scheme is the most rational for small volumes of work in cramped conditions, the longitudinal-swivel - for long sections. The maximum depth and width of the ripper, the working speeds and the number of ripper teeth are determined by the traction class of the base machine.
The smallest loosening depth in one pass should be 20-30% higher than the thickness of soil chips excavated by earth-moving machines, in combination with which the ripper works. The bulldozer with a ripper on the T-25.01 tractor (Fig. 3, a) has a fixed bulldozer equipment in a hemispherical or spherical design with a hydraulic skew and a compensation mechanism in the form of a cross rod.
