Description
Boiler Ep-670-13.8-545 BT (TPE-216) is designed for operation on low-grade brown coals in the unit with turbines: heating T-180/215-130 and condensing K-210-130. The boiler is single-drum, single-hull, with natural circulation, U-shaped arrangement, for high steam parameters with steam overheat. Getter boiler, with all-welded screens, balanced traction and solid slag removal. The open-type furnace chamber, prismatic, in section is a rectangle with dimensions along the axes of pipes of 13.52x12.48 m. The walls of the furnace chamber are shielded with all-welded panels made of smooth pipes of 60x6 mm with a pitch of 80 mm and welded strip (steel 20). In order to improve the aerodynamic properties of the furnace, a projection towards the furnace is provided in the upper part. To dry fuel, hot gases are withdrawn in upper part of furnace through six branch pipes. To control the temperature of the drying agent, cold gases are supplied to the branch pipes from the exhaust gas box behind the electrofilters.
