Cover on intermediate shaft

Structural dimensions of intermediate shaft covers are taken equal to those of high-speed shaft cover. A distinctive feature is the absence of a through hole for the output of the shaft, as well as the absence of additional space for the cuff.

Selecting Fits for Inner Bearing Ring

Internal bearing ring tolerance field is selected as per GOST 52071. Since in the reduction gear the inner rings of bearings of all shafts are rotated and the outer rings are in place, local loading takes place, therefore the bearing is mounted with a gap, which allows to reduce the wear of the inner tracks.

For the inner bearing ring of the high-speed shaft, we take the size. For the outer bearing ring of the high-speed shaft, which is mounted in the gearbox housing, we take the size:.

For inner ring of low-speed shaft bearing we take size. For the outer ring of the low-speed shaft bearing, which is mounted in the gearbox housing, we take the size:.

Selection of couplings

To transfer torque from the electric motor shaft to the high-speed shaft and prevent shaft skew, a resilient bushing clutch is selected, the torque of which is transmitted by fingers and elastic bushings. Its dimensions are standardized and depend on the torque and shaft diameter.

Using the previously calculated diameter of the output shaft of the reduction gear and the amount of torque on it, we select a toothed clutch for transmitting torque from the output shaft of the reduction gear to the drive shaft. Its dimensions are standardized according to GOST 500655.
