Villa Tugendgat is the famous work of the German architect Ludwig Mies van der Rohe in the city of Brno, Czech Republic. It is considered a milestone in the development of the architecture of modernism. The villa was built in 1928-1930 for Fritz Tugendhat (German Fritz Tugendhat) and his wife Greta. In 2001, UNESCO was included in the World Heritage List.
