Vertical steam generator of saturated steam 40 MW

The purpose of the course project is to develop design documentation (a set of drawings and a calculation and explanatory note), drawn up in accordance with the requirements of the ESKD (GOST 2.104 and GOST 2.105), for a low-power steam generator used for marine nuclear power units, i.e. design development and strength substantiation of a vertical water-water steam generator. Vertical low-power steam generators for marine nuclear power units are designed for a slight change in the temperature of the coolant with the possibility of natural circulation of the working medium in the circuit. Separation in such a steam generator takes place on louver separators operating from the force of gravity and not requiring moving parts and electrical circuits. Objectives of the project: 1. Consider the purpose and scope of the designed product, its technical characteristics, design, materials; 2. Conduct a calculation justification, including:  thermal calculation for the choice of dimensions;  strength calculation (calculation for the choice of basic dimensions);  hydraulic calculation;  calculation of the separation process and vapor humidity;  strength calculation (calibration calculation).
