Description

One drawing The schematic diagram of the three-hull evaporator is shown in Figure 1. The initial dilute solution from the intermediate vessel 1 is supplied by the centrifugal pump 2 to the heat exchanger 3 and then to the first body 4 of the evaporator. The first housing is heated with fresh water steam. The secondary steam generated by concentrating the solution in the first housing is directed as a heater to the second housing 5. A partially concentrated solution from the 1st body also comes here. Similarly, the third housing 6 is heated by the secondary steam of the second housing and concentrates the solution from the second housing. The spontaneous flow of solution and secondary steam into subsequent housings is possible due to the total pressure drop resulting from the vacuum created by the secondary steam concentration of the last housing in the barometric mixing condenser 7, then enters the heat exchanger for cooling. Mixture of cooling water and condensate is removed by means of barometric pipe with hydraulic lock 9. Concentrated solution formed in the third housing is fed by centrifugal pump 10 into intermediate reservoir of evaporated solution 11. Condensation of heating vapors from evaporators is removed by means of condensate traps 12.
