Scheme of automatic cleaning of the filter-sediment trap.

The system will operate as follows. When filter element 1 becomes sufficiently contaminated, the oil supply is stopped by closing the valve on inlet pipe 2. Then, the valve on drain pipeline 3 is opened. After that, the valve on outlet pipe 4 is closed, followed by the opening of the valve on pipeline 5, which supplies water. After this, water is supplied under high pressure and temperature to the filter from the rear side, which washes away sludge and other debris from the filter element, after which the water, along with the debris and remaining oil, exits through the drain pipe into a special container, after which this entire mixture is disposed of. This method also provides for increasing the diameter of the drain pipeline to allow the removal of large debris from the filter.
