Description
Functionally, the RI converter consists of two parts: a normalizing converter and an output signal generator.
The normalizing converter is designed to convert the current resistance of the vehicle into voltage and connect the range of input voltages corresponding to the measured temperatures to the normalized values of the output signal, as well as to linearize the temperature characteristic of the vehicle.
The output signal generator is designed to generate an output current signal galvanically isolated with the input signal, proportional to the controlled temperature, to generate and amplify discrete output signals signalling the output of the monitored parameter outside the permissible limits, as well as to generate stabilized voltages supplying the electronic units of the RI converter.
