Description

Design of bases and foundations of buildings and structures

Course project

TASK

for course design

"Geotechnical Tasks in the Context of Reconstruction of Buildings and Structures with the Use of Effective Materials"

Course project 67 p., 5 figures, 10 tables, 5 sources.

BASES AND FOUNDATIONS; PHYSICAL AND MECHANICAL CHARACTERISTICS OF SOILS; DESIGN RESISTANCE OF THE SUBSTRATE; SHALLOW FOUNDATIONS; FOUNDATIONS; DEFORMATION OF THE SUBSTRATE; CONSTRUCTIVE SOLUTION FOR STRENGTHENING THE FOUNDATION; TECHNOLOGICAL SCHEME OF FOUNDATION STRENGTHENING.

The object of the course project is the calculation of the bases and foundations of a two-storey hotel building.

As a result of the work on the project, the physical and mechanical characteristics of the soils were evaluated; Their name is given and the design resistance of the engineering and geological layers of the foundation is determined, calculations of shallow foundations according to limit states are performed, a constructive solution for strengthening the existing foundation is made.
