Description
Articulated couplings (Hooke joints) are designed to transfer torque between shafts with mutual inclination of axes up to 40-45 °, and the angle of inclination can vary. Transmission of rotation at such large angles is achieved due to the fact that the clutch has two hinges with two mutually perpendicular axes. It is used in cardan transmissions of auto-tractor equipment.
