The building is a single-story industrial structure, rectangular in plan, with overall dimensions of 72 x 144 m. The structural design includes two parallel spans, each 36 m wide. The column grid is 12 x 12 m (column spacing is 12 m for both outer and inner rows). The height from the finished floor to the bottom of the supporting structures is 16.8 m.

The columns of the end frames of the steel frame are offset 500 mm inward from the transverse alignment axes of the building (there is no "zero" reference; an "offset" scheme is used). The internal planes of the end half-timbered posts (enclosing structures) are aligned precisely with the transverse alignment axes; the half-timbered reference is assumed to be zero.

The outer faces of the columns in the outer longitudinal rows are offset 250 mm from the corresponding longitudinal layout axes ("250 reference"). This solution ensures the uniformity of the supporting nodes of the enclosing structures and a stable façade line geometry. The inner (middle) rows of columns have a standard axial reference.

The adopted reference system (250 mm along the outer longitudinal rows, 500 mm along the ends, zero reference for the half-timbering) is typical for steel-frame buildings with large-span roof structures. It optimizes the layout of wall panels, ensures the rigidity of the end half-timbering, and standardizes the joints between vertical and horizontal elements.
