Description
Types and designs of dies and die heads for molding polymers from melts are described. The main parameters of the round die plate for the production of kapron thread, consisting of 18 elementary threads, have been determined; diameter of one capillary – 0.35 mm; melt pressure – 4.5 MPa. Die material – steel 1X21H5T ( MPa; ; MPa). A program for calculation in MATLAB has been compiled. A drawing of the die in COMPASS-3D was made.
