Course project "Heat Generating Installations"

In this course project, the selection of a boiler unit is carried out, followed by its verification and structural calculation. One of the steam boiler units of the DKVr type is taken as the basis, and the calculation of all heat exchange elements included in the considered boiler unit is performed.

The DKVr steam boilers are two-drum, vertical water-tube boilers, designed for the production of saturated or superheated steam, used for technological needs of industrial enterprises, in heating, ventilation, and hot water supply systems.

The goal of the verification calculation is to determine the final temperatures in each heat exchange element, given the specified structural design. The structural calculation determines the necessary heat exchange areas to meet the specified temperature drops.
