Description
The compressed air source is a compressor station with VKU 75-8/10 air-cooled screw compressor units.
To meet the calculated compressed air flow rates, a compressor station is equipped with two screw compressors (Pworking pressure = 0.8 MPa), each with a capacity of 11.5 m³/min. One compressor is in operation, the other is a backup.
Akron screw compressors are modern, reliable, energy-efficient, quiet, and easy to maintain and install compressed air sources.
The compressed air leaving the screw compressor is already largely purified.
Each compressor has a standard compressed air connection, ensuring easy connection to the network.
CS 5 ALUP cyclone separators with condensate drain valves are installed at the compressor outlet for preliminary condensate separation. They are highly reliable and operate efficiently, even at high humidity and temperatures.
To produce compressed air with a dew point of +3°C, Kraftmann KHD 780 refrigerated dryers are installed in the compressor room.
A series-connected filter system (coarse, medium, and fine) removes condensed water droplets, as well as oil and contaminant particles, from the compressed air flow.
To mitigate compressed air pulsations and ensure constant network pressure, three vertical receivers with a capacity of 900 liters, each with a pressure of 10 bar, are installed in the compressor room.
