Description
The safety valve serves to protect the boiler from increasing the maximum allowable pressure in it during water heating, or during increasing water from the cold water supply network. The safety valve is also equipped with a check valve, which prevents hot water from flowing from the boiler into the cold water supply system. In case of its disconnection, the valve operates as follows. Cold water raises valve 3, 4, 5, compressing springs 11, 12. If the pressure in the network or boiler exceeds, valve 6, 7, 8, 10 opens. Protective washer 9 is knocked out by pressure. Valve actuation pressure is set by plug 8.
