In most cases, the dies consist of two halves, the upper one being actuated by a working part of the equipment, for example a hammer, and the lower one being stationary. But the arrangement of the dies varies greatly depending on their purpose.

Dies are for cold and hot stamping, for presses, hammer and others. If you want to produce mass products, then stamping is your choice. In large-scale production, stamping can overpower little.
