Description
The installation of light thermal cracking of fuel oil (visbreaking) with a capacity of 1 million tons/year for raw materials is designed to: • obtain fuel oil corresponding to technical requirements, according to the freezing temperature of grades M-40 and M-100; • obtain gasoline and diesel cracking fractions. The raw material of the plant is straight-run fuel oil obtained in the atmospheric distillation section (S-100) of the LK-6U unit. Operation of the unit on the raw material consisting of a mixture of fuel oil and tar, or on the tar obtained at the vacuum distillation unit of fuel oil, is allowed.
