TURBINE GAS COUNTER TRZ 03
Turbine Gas Meter TRZ 03 is a flow meter suitable for flow measurements according to DIN 33800. The flowing amount of gas is summed up in the mechanical counting mechanism in units of volume (working cubic meters) at the current pressure and temperature. The gas flow narrowed to a certain cross section drives a coaxially mounted turbine wheel. The speed of rotation of the wheel, proportional to the flow rate, is reduced through a gearing and transmitted to a mechanical roller counting mechanism.
In the counter housing there is a measuring mechanism with a turbine wheel. Upstream of the measuring mechanism there is a flow rectifier, which substantially eliminates turbulence and swirling from the gas flow and directs gas to the blades of the turbine wheel.
