Common part.

The project was developed on the basis of the customer's technical assignment. Customer graphic materials were used as input for project development. The project provides for the construction of an automatic fire alarm system and a fire warning system for people.

Purpose and scope of AUPS and SOIE.

Fire alarm installation - a set of technical means for fire detection, processing, presentation in a given form of a fire notification, special information and/or issuing commands to start automatic fire extinguishing units and technical devices.

Fire alarm is intended for:

- to ensure safety of people in the fire;

- for fire detection;

- to submit an alarm notification to the room with round-the-clock duty;

- to enable technical devices.

According to NPB 11003, all rooms are equipped with the APS system, with the exception of:

- premises related to wet processes (washing rooms, bathrooms, showers, etc.);

- ventilation chambers (plenum, as well as exhaust, not servicing production rooms of category A or B), pump water supply, boiler and other rooms for engineering equipment of the building, in which there are no combustible materials;

- staircases;

- rooms of category B4 and D by fire hazard.

Evacuation Warning and Control System (ESMS) is a set of organizational measures and technical means designed to timely inform people about the occurrence of a fire and (or) need and escape routes.

The necessity and type of EPSS is determined according to NPB 10403.

Brief description of the protected room.

The object is a 3-story administrative building with a built-in cafe on the ground floor (with 48 seats), located at the address:.................... The height of the building premises does not exceed 3.5 meters. According to the data provided by the customer, according to the functional fire hazard class, the building belongs to class F 4.3. The total area of ​ ​ the building does not exceed 1935 meters square. Each floor of the building is an administrative, corridor type. The 2nd and 3rd floors have two evacuation exits (through the stairwell to the first floor), the 1st floor has three evacuation exits from the building. In the corridors of all floors there are suspended ceilings spaced from the floor of more than 40 centimeters, the width of the corridors does not exceed 3 meters.

On the ground floor there is a security room with a round-the-clock stay of people. The management and monitoring of the entire building AUPS system will come from the security room.

According to NPB 10403, this building is fully equipped with SOE (Warning and Evacuation Control System) of the 2nd type.

Main design solutions.

According to NPB 11003, public and administrative buildings are equipped with AUPS regardless of area, in accordance with NPB 882001 *.

The building in these standards refers to the building as a whole or part of the building (fire compartments) allocated by fire walls of type 1. Also, according to NPB 11003, this building is mandatory equipped with smoke fire detectors.

The following are accepted as technical means of fire detection:

- smoke fire detectors IP 21287 QC;

- manual fire detectors IPR3SU.

According to NPB 10403, administrative buildings, up to 6 floors, are generally equipped with a type 2 warning and evacuation control system, which starts automatically.

According to NPB 10403, the 2nd type of warning system requires the following methods of notification:

- audio (siren, tinted signal, etc.);

- "Exit" light annunciators.

The following are accepted as technical means of warning people about fire:

- "Ton-1S" fire protection sounders;

- Lightning light annunciators "Lightning 12" ("Exit" annunciator);

- "KOP12" light annunciator ("door to the left")

A set of fire and security alarm equipment based on:

- "С 2000" monitoring and control panel;

- "Signal 20P SMD" safety and fire control device;

Principle of system operation.

Automatic fire alarm and EPSS are controlled from the monitoring and control panel located in the security room with a round-the-clock stay (PCP).

The "S 2000" fire control and monitoring panel combines the devices connected to it into one system, ensuring their interaction with each other.

The microprocessor controls all the operation of the device: polls the keyboard and displays symbolic information on the LCD, cyclically polls connected receiving and control devices via the RS485 interface, works with non-volatile memory, controls the light indicator and sound indicator.

Nonvolatile memory is designed to store the console database and message buffer. The non-volatile memory chip is an electrically erasable read-only memory device with a serial I2C interface.

The RS485 interface converter converts the transmitted logic layer signals (0 V, + 5 V) into RS485 interface signals and converts the received RS485 layer signals into logic layer signals.

LCD displays information corresponding to the current mode of console operation or received messages. The keyboard consists of 16 backlit buttons. The LED displays the status of the console and interface.

The audible annunciator is designed to provide various audible announcements.

"SMD Signal 20P" is used as control and receiving equipment.

Principle of control and receiving device operation.

Voltage from measuring resistors of signaling loops is supplied to the switch input. The processor, controlling the switch, alternately connects the input of the built-in ADC to the signaling loops. The current state of each SH is determined. By changing the state of loops, the processor records the facts of not taking, taking for protection, actuation of detectors in SH, etc., transmitting the corresponding messages via the RS485 interface to "С 2000."

Fire alarm loops are in round-the-clock security mode.

When one fire smoke detector is activated, the system goes into the "Alarm" state, when the second detector is activated into the "Fire" state.
