The aim is to develop a new process for manufacturing a part - a shaft, which ensures that the requirements for the accuracy of the dimensions, shape and mutual position of the surfaces of the part are met, given their quality indicators with minimum production costs and maximum productivity.

Introduction

Lifting and transportation machines are machines (devices) designed to move goods and people in vertical, horizontal and inclined planes for relatively short distances within factories, construction sites, ports, warehouses, etc.

Lifting and transportation machines are the main means of mechanization of lifting and transportation and loading and unloading operations in industry, construction, transport, mining and agriculture. They are also used to move people to multi-storey residential, public and administrative buildings, mines, metro stations, etc. By the nature of the movements performed and the purpose of the Lifting and Transportation Machines, they can be conditionally divided into five enlarged groups: lifting machines and mechanisms, transporting machines, suspended single-rail vehicles, floor vehicles (including rail-less transport) and loading and unloading machines.

Construction and road machines are a group of machines designed for construction work, as well as for the operation and maintenance of roads.

The process of creating a machine is divided into two stages. The first stage consists in the development of the machine design with the corresponding drawings. The second stage consists in development and implementation of production processes of machine parts manufacturing and assembly, which constitutes the main task of machine building technology. The steps of creating a machine are closely interconnected. Indeed, it is impossible to develop a good machine design without taking into account the technology of its production. Adopted technologies for making children and assembling a machine determine its quality and production costs. The development of technology allows you to apply new design solutions that increase the quality of the machine and reduce these costs.

The modern idea about the technology of mechanical engineering was formed on the basis of research and development of many generations of domestic and foreign scientists and engineers, which contributed to its formation as a branch of technical science, which is engaged in the study of laws operating in the manufacture of machines, with the aim of using these laws to ensure the required quality of machines and their lowest cost.

Conclusion

As a result of the course work, a technological process was developed for the manufacture of the Val part in medium-sized production conditions. During the work, all the necessary calculations were carried out, the operations that are necessary for the manufacture of this part, namely: certain operations were selected, transitions to these operations, cutting modes were selected, workpiece processing time, and a technological drawing was developed. All these stages were carried out taking into account the type of production, the material of the workpiece and the material of the cutting parts of the tools. In addition, the selection of measurement and control tools was carried out. For each operation, the selection of metal cutting equipment, cutting tool, technological equipment was carried out.

The necessity of making a hot rolled round stock has been proved, the choice of the best treatment of the main surfaces has made it possible to achieve the specified accuracy at optimal production costs.

As a result of the work, practical skills in the development of the technological process were acquired and theoretical knowledge was fixed in the discipline "Technology for the production of lifting, construction, road vehicles and equipment."
