Introduction

A suspended conveyor is a conveyor in which the transported goods are on suspensions and move together with the undercarriage along the suspended guide path of a closed circuit.

On a way of connection of a traction element with the transported cargo and the nature of cargo transfer the suspended conveyors are subdivided into cargo bearing, cargo pushing, nesushchetolkayushchy, cargo leading and nesushchegruzovedushchy.

In this course design, a suspended load-carrying conveyor is calculated, which consists of a traction element closed along the contour of the route, with carriages permanently attached to it, to which suspensions with transported loads are hingedly suspended. Traction element with carriages and suspensions moves by means of drive along closed path suspended from support structures, turns on rotary devices and is pulled by tensioner.

To begin with, preliminary calculation of conveyor is carried out, in which elements and parameters of running gear are selected and preliminary tension of traction gear is determined. Then specified calculation of conveyor is performed, in which specified traction calculation, selection of drive elements and calculation of tensioner are performed.
