Description
Design and operation of oil trunk pipelines. Individual work within the framework of which the technological calculation of the pipeline for pumping oil in the amount of G=4.2 million tons/year was performed, if the estimated length of the route is L=360 km; the difference between the leveling marks of the end and the beginning of the oil pipeline is ΔΖ = 60 m; oil viscosity ν20=23 cst, ν50=13 cst, design oil temperature t=3°C.
Based on the results of the hydraulic calculation, the pumps were selected, the number of oil pumping stations on the route profile was determined with rounding up. The operating point of the oil pipeline system – pumping stations – was determined by the graphic-analytical method. The PS were placed along the oil pipeline route using the Shukhov method.
