Additional information

Introduction

The restoration of automotive parts has become one of the important indicators of the economic activity of large repair and specialized enterprises. In fact, a new industry has been created - the restoration of worn-out parts.

The technical and economic efficiency of restoring parts follows from the fact that for a number of names of the most metal-intensive and expensive parts, the consumption of restored parts is much more than the consumption of new spare parts .

In modern economic conditions, when the bulk of the fleet of motor tractor equipment has developed a normative service life, the problem of repairing worn-out equipment based on the use of restored parts becomes more and more urgent.

The economic efficiency of restoring parts is due not only to the difficult economic situation, but also to large reserves in the economic sphere, as evidenced by the experience of the developed capitalist countries of Western Europe, England and the USA, in which they pay great attention to the production of restoring parts. For example, according to the national association of tractor parts dealers, in the United States there are about 500 enterprises for the restoration of worn-out parts and assemblies. Therefore, the technical and economic feasibility of restoring parts is not due to poverty, but to the high economic benefits that can be extremely attractive when using modern technologies. However, in order to apply the achievements of scientific and technological progress, it is necessary to possess not only relevant information, but also the methodology for designing technological processes for the restoration and strengthening of machine parts.

The methodological basis for designing technological processes is a set of principles, methods and rules connected by a single goal, which provides for the adoption of private decisions based on the system analysis of diverse information that ensure the specified functional properties of machine parts at minimum economic costs.

Overall Objective for Functional Support

(operational) properties of machine parts can be realized by different technological methods and materials. Therefore, several process variants can be developed for the same part, ensuring that the specified technical requirements for the part are met. This multivariability of technological solutions is characteristic at all stages of the design of the TPV part. In this work the development of TPV of KamAZ 740 engine cylinder head is given taking into account all principles and rules of making technological decisions in accordance with the design methodology set forth in the works [1, 2, 4].
