Introduction

One of the main ways of protecting the population from emergency situations and their consequences is the asylum of PGs. HSE shelter - a protective structure, completely isolated from the external environment; specially built and equipped to protect people in wartime and peacetime from all types of destruction.

PG shelters provide protection against:

- the shock wave of a nuclear explosion (at a certain distance from the place of explosion);

- light radiation;

- penetrating radiation;

- emission of precipitation on the trace of radioactive cloud;

-treating substances;

-bacterial (biological) agents.

Shelters also protect people from possible damage when buildings collapse above or near the structure, exposure to high temperatures in a fire and combustion products.

Shelters are classified according to:

-protective properties;

-compatibility;

- location (built-in and separate);

- provision of filtering equipment (with industrial equipment; with equipment made of improvised materials);

- erection times (built in advance; fast-moving);

-assignment.

It is planned to build a built-in shelter for 150 people (70% of them men, 30% of women), 1.2 ventilation modes to shelter the largest working shift of workshop No. 1 of aircraft construction in Dzerzhinsk. In peacetime, the premises of the structure will be used as a mechanical diner.

Conclusion

Shelters provide the most reliable protection for people from all damaging factors (high temperatures, harmful gases in fire zones, explosive, radioactive and highly active poisonous substances, collapses and debris of destroyed buildings and structures), as well as from weapons of mass destruction of conventional means of attack.

The designed shelter meets the requirements of the IVS protection class and ensures the continuous stay of people for two days, the convenience of operating the premises both for national economic purposes (photo studio) and in the mode of the protective structure, the speed and convenience of filling during evacuation, the possibility of leaving sheltered in case of rubble.
